VICTOR BOOK FOR BOYS 1973
The 1973 edition of the Victor Book for Boys is the 7th version of the annual publication. As with all the Victor annuals, it features great stories and tales of wartime heroics. The front cover alone is a stand-out; it features a unit of British commandoes driving bus through enemy terrority, firing on all sides. The original sign on the front of the bus - "Muller Autobus" - has been overpainted by the commandoes with "Under new management".
What really surprises me is the condition of the edition. For a kids annual that is nearly 40 years old, it is almost pristine.

- The original price is 50p and remains unclipped and intact
- Spine and cover boards remarkably straight and intact
- All pages are in place and are bound strongly
- The cover images and inside content retains stong and vivid colours
- The cover boards retain sharp corners. On the spine ther are minor bumps on the very top & bottom edges.
- Colour of internal pages remain vivid, with slight yellowing of white boarder
