VICTOR BOOK FOR BOYS 1978

My goodness, the condition of this book is fantastic. This hardback annual, the 1978 edition of the Victor Book For Boys, is in immaculate condition for a hardback annual. The spine and coverboards are in straight and sharp and wholly intact. I can only see the most minor of bumps to the top and bottom of the spine. The original price of "95p" is still in place, unclipped, on the inside front cover page, although you can see the slight discoloration that must have come from an overprice sticker... you should be able to see it in the accompanying photo.

The cover image is excellent also; all action and movement. It shows 2 Tommies driving a taxi through German forces, firing and grinning relentless as they go. It's taken from the inside story called "The Taxi that went to War"; the story of 2 privates in the Wellington Regiment serving at El Alamein in WWII.

The edition also includes stories from stalwart Victor characters: Killer Kennedy R.N., Morgyn the Mighty, Lord of the Hammer.

I rate the condition of this book as Very Fine. Compare the photos to the description here, comicbooks.about.com - Very Fine, and decide for yourself.
