Each time I pick up this Fleetway published annual I'm still amazed at its condition. When I think of the child who may have gotten this book as a present back in 1974, I can only think that he had either a very light touch when reading his comics or, perhaps thankfully, no interest in his present and thus left it aside. When I acquired this book it had spent at least 20 years wrapped and stored with other annuals in a dry, dark attic and has all the benefits of its long beauty sleep:

• Straight, flat coverboards
• Very sharp corners to the coverboards
• Spine strong and straight, with only the tiniest bump to top and bottom
• No loose pages - binding remains strong
• Strong, vivid colours on the cover image and inside pages
• Slight tanning to the white borders of the internal pages which is normal for comics of this age
• No visible marks or scuffs
• No inscriptions
• Price unclipped ("70p")
